Reusable KYC (Sumsub)

Overview

Narvi uses Sumsub Reusable Identity to receive KYC data from partners. Currently, Sumsub is the only supported KYC provider. Before using the BaaS API, you must configure your Sumsub account to share verified user data with Narvi.

Setup

Log in to your Sumsub back office
Go to: Reusable Identity → Partners → Recipients
Add the Narvi-provided token
Confirm that Narvi appears in the recipient list

How it works

The user completes identity verification in your Sumsub profile
Sumsub profile is paired with ours and shares the verified profile with Narvi
Narvi uses the shared profile during onboarding

No additional verification required on Narvi's side.

Account types

Private accounts

The verified user must be the account holder

Business accounts

The verified user can be any authorized applicant
The verified user does not need to be a UBO or director

Business-related data (e.g., directors, beneficiaries, company details) must be provided via the API.

Requirements

Reusable Identity must be enabled in Sumsub
Narvi must be configured as a recipient
The same environment must be used on both sides (sandbox or production)

Limitations

Only the verified KYC profile is shared via Sumsub
Business entity data is not shared and must be submitted via API
Missing or invalid tokens will prevent KYC sharing
Your Sumsub profile needs to have the same settings as ours. For the settings, please find the following file with all requirements.

Common issues

Issue	Cause
KYC not received by Narvi	Narvi was not added as a recipient
"App token not found."	Incorrect or mismatched token/environment
Sumsub verification is not shared properly	Your Sumsub settings are not aligned with ours
